FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:Where are the scooters made?
A:Like so many other large scooter companies, they are manufactured in China.

Q:How much assembly is required?
A:Fortunately, one does not need to be mechanically-inclined to assemble the vehicles. Most vehicles are 85% - 95% assembled. The typical requirements are installations of the front wheel, side mirrors, battery, and trunk.

Q:Where can I obtain replacement parts if needed?
A:We stock parts for every item we sell. However, not all parts are guaranteed to be in stock. Parts can be ordered directly from the manufacturer at any time. For parts, please submit a "Parts Request Form". Part(s) delivery may take, but not limited to, from 4-6 weeks.

Q:Are these vehicles legal in my state?
A:The majority of the vehicles sold on this site are street legal in all continuous 48 states. However, please check with your local DMV for specific state requirements. California residents require C.A.R.B. approval to be legal in the state of California.

Q:How do I request a Title or Bill of Sale for my purchase?
A:Click on "Title (MSO) Request" and fill out the information required. Once confirmation, we will mail out your registration paperwork FREE of charge. Q:How do I start my Moped Scooter?
A:
Step 1:Place scooter on parking stand (stand is located towards the rear of scooter next to kick starter).

Step 2:Put key into ignition and turn it to the (on) position. Note: Make sure kill switch is in the (on) position.

Step 3:Put unleaded gas into scooter (premium gas recommended). Note: Make sure you have the fuel line connected to the carburetor. It is located on the left side of the bike underneath the seat. There is a compartment that exposes the carburetor and what you are looking for will be either a brass nub 3/4 of an inch long or a hollow nub. You may not see it, however, you should be able to feel it if you are standing on the left side of the bike.

Step 4:Kick start scooter 6-7 times to build compression. Note: Do not pull on throttle or it will flood the carburetor.

Step 5:Now use the electric start (hold in rear left brake lever and press button on right that looks like lightening bolt). Hold for 3-4 seconds. Note: Do not hold it in any longer than 5 seconds at a time or you will burn the starter.

    Step 6:Repeat sequence 6-7 times.

Step 7:Once started, adjust idle speed if needed. Note: To adjust idle lift up seat and in engine compartment on the top towards the farthest side of the carburetor, is a Gold Phillip screw attached onto a spring. Turn clockwise until it is set to your preference.

Q:Where can I get my scooter worked on? What kind of mechanics work on my scooters?
A:As stated on our website, we don't offer a labor warranty. We do not have dealers or service locations nationwide, which is one of the reasons why we don't pay for labor. We would, however, like to give you some steps to use when trying to locate a mechanic to work on your scooter.

These steps will not guarantee that you will find a mechanic that will look at or work on your scooter. They will, however, increase the chances of finding that mechanic.

  • On the internet, go to www.superpages.com. There is a search box at the top of the page.
  • In the Keyword box, search for the following keywords one at a time. This will give you a list of possible mechanics that will work on your scooter.

    • scooter repair (then look under the category Motorcycles, Motor Scooters, and ATV Service & Repair)
    • small engine repair
    • motorcycle dealers
    • lawn mower repair

  • Make a list of all the local companies that fit in these categories. Call the companies. Let them know these things:

    • You have a moped that needs repairs.
    • You bought it from a company that has parts in stock, along with a parts breakdown.
    • The company has a mechanic that your mechanic can talk to, to help walk them through replacing parts, or troubleshooting.

Q:Can I cancel my order?
A:Once an order is placed to Scooterdynasty.com, your order immediately enters our order processing system. You have 24 hours to cancel your order. After 24 hours, your order cannot be canceled and shipment cannot be stopped.
